Individual Therapy
A SAFE SPACE TO RECONNECT WITH YOURSELF
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, past experiences, or big life changes. Therapy is a space just for you, where you can slow down, reflect, and feel supported as you work toward healing and growth.
I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can explore what’s been weighing on you and begin to understand yourself on a deeper level. Together, we’ll focus on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and in your relationships.
What We Can Work On Together
Every person’s story is unique, but therapy can help with things like:
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck
Processing grief, loss, or major life changes
Healing from painful or confusing past experiences
Building confidence and self-acceptance
Improving relationships and setting healthy boundaries
Managing stress, mood changes, or burnout
Navigating identity, purpose, or life transitions
You don’t have to have it all figured out before starting therapy,
that’s what we’ll explore together.
“When we understand our story, we begin to write a new chapter.”
What Sessions Are Like
Sessions are guided by your needs and move at your pace. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can talk openly and feel understood. I’ll draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you with curiosity, care, and respect.
Sessions are 50 minutes and held securely online, so you can meet from the comfort of your own space.
Getting Started
Reaching out is the first step toward change, and I know that can feel big. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and see if we’re a good fit.
Family Therapy
STRENGTHENING CONNECTION AND UNDERSTANDING AT HOME
Family life can be both rewarding and challenging. When communication breaks down or emotions run high, it can leave everyone feeling frustrated or disconnected. Family therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, listen to each other, and work toward healthier patterns together.
I help families improve understanding, rebuild trust, and navigate life’s ups and downs as a team. Whether you’re coping with conflict, big changes, or parenting stress, we’ll work together to create a more peaceful and connected home environment.
Family therapy can help with:
Improving communication and emotional understanding
Managing conflict and strong emotions
Navigating parenting challenges or co-parenting stress
Supporting children through behavior or emotional struggles
Adjusting to transitions such as separation, relocation, or new family roles
Strengthening bonds and building empathy within the family
Every family is different. Our work will focus on what matters most to yours. My goal is to help each family member feel seen, heard, and supported.
“Connection begins when we listen to understand, not to respond.”
Perinatal and Postpartum
Mental Health
Support for your journey through motherhood
Becoming a parent brings many changes emotionally, physically, and in your relationships. While this time can be full of joy, it can also bring feelings of worry, sadness, guilt, or uncertainty. You don’t have to work through these feelings alone.
I specialize in supporting women through the emotional journey of pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. Therapy provides a gentle, understanding space to process what you’re feeling, explore identity shifts, and learn ways to care for yourself as you care for your baby.
Therapy can help you:
Manage stress, anxiety, or depression during or after pregnancy
Cope with changes in identity, relationships, and daily routines
Heal from a difficult birth or pregnancy loss
Adjust to the challenges of parenthood
Strengthen self-compassion and emotional resilience
Feel more connected to yourself and your baby
You deserve care and support, too. Together, we’ll create a space where you can breathe, reflect, and rediscover your sense of balance and strength.
“Repair happens through connection, not perfection.”
Parent–Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
PCIT is an evidence-based approach for children aged 2–7 that focuses on strengthening the parent-child bond while addressing behavioral challenges such as defiance, aggression, non-compliance, and tantrums. Parents receive live coaching during sessions, learning practical strategies to guide their child’s behavior while fostering a positive, supportive relationship.
PCIT Has Two Key Areas of Focus:
1. Strengthening the Relationship
Parents are coached on ways to reduce conflict and negativity, while building warm, supportive, and consistent communication with their child. This helps restore connection and trust in the parent-child relationship.
2. Managing Challenging Behaviors
Parents learn practical strategies to guide their child’s behavior, practice these skills during sessions, and receive real-time coaching until both parent and child experience noticeable improvements.
Who Can Benefit
PCIT is most helpful for families where children are showing disruptive or challenging behaviors, particularly when these behaviors begin to affect the warmth and closeness in the parent-child relationship. Through PCIT, parents gain confidence and tools to guide their child, while strengthening the bond that supports healthy emotional and social development.
“Beneath every behavior, there is a feeling. And beneath each feeling is a need. And when we meet that need rather than focus on the behavior, we begin to deal with the cause, not the symptom.”
– Ashleigh Warner
Child–Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
Child–Parent Psychotherapy is a compassionate, evidence-based therapy designed for children from birth through age 5 and their caregivers. It focuses on helping families heal and grow after stressful or traumatic experiences by strengthening the parent-child relationship.
CPP May Be Helpful If:
Your child has experienced scary or painful events such as loss of a loved one, separation, serious medical procedures, abuse or violence at home or in the community
Your child shows challenging behaviors or emotional difficulties
There have been changes in caregivers or living situations
Family members are facing physical or mental health challenges
Caregivers seek support in parenting and improving the parent-child relationship
What To Expect
CPP typically involves weekly sessions with both the child and caregiver. The therapy progresses through three stages:
Getting to Know the Family
Understanding the family's needs, strengths, and experiences.Addressing the Family's Needs
Engaging in activities that promote healing and understanding.Planning for the Future
Celebrating progress and preparing for ongoing growth.
Throughout the process, play is often used to help young children express feelings and thoughts, and we may meet alone as adults to explore experiences and build coping skills.
Research Shows That CPP Can Lead To:
Improved mood and behavior in children
Reduced trauma symptoms
Enhanced parent-child relationship quality
Decreased parenting stress
